Anderson Family Portrait Shoot 21/12/21

Megan and her partner had only recently got home after the birth of their 1st baby! We headed out to the Te Awamutu War Memorial Park and the conditions for this shoot were absolutely perfect! The clouds were out – which is a good thing as the clouds act as a soft box to prevent the harsh sunlight from directly hitting them. We started off by getting some nice family photos, walking around and trying different spots. Then we got some really nice close up shots of the baby being held by each parent. I did this by using my Canon 90D with my 50mm 1.8 lens – which creates a nice bokeh effect. Using my usual portrait shoot gear, I was able to get some shots with nice composition by using my Canon M50 with my 18-135mm lens.
